Testimonials from clients at ‘My Body’s Keeper’
“As I have gotten older I realised my body and health were rapidly failing me. I have ended up with diabetes and blood sugars that were out of control and other health issues that if not addressed will leave me severely debilitated and a body that was gaining weight. I had found that my thoughts and emotional attitude toward myself and life was becoming very self-destructive, I felt depressed and being able to pull myself out of this pattern of self-destruction felt impossible, that was until I came across Jo and ‘My Body’s Keeper’. This program is helping me transform myself and start to believe I can reach my goals. At this stage I am early into the program, but I have already started to lose weight, my blood sugars are now normal and I am feeling happier and healthier. The key for me is the primary food focus of the program, that is the ability for myself with the guidance of Jo to challenge my thought processes and how I look at life. This mind focus is the start and then sets of a domino effect. I am looking forward to seeing myself after the 6month program. It is very exciting and thank you Jo and ‘My Body’s Keeper’ for the foundation for me to transform myself.” Sue (2017)
My top three goals upon starting the 6-month program were
“to eat well, lose weight, especially with a bloated stomach and exercise regularly”.
My coach was able to help me work toward these goals by
“encouraging me without force or criticism, educate me and meet with me regularly to monitor my progress”.
The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been
“awareness of how the right foods can produce good health and maintain it”.
The most significant overall change I have noticed has been
“my thinking, which has caused me to take action”.
I would describe my coach as
“encouraging, understanding, informative, interactive, caring, interested in my struggle re: my health journey”.
I would recommend my coach to
“anyone needing the type of help similar to what I needed”.
Other comments and feedback
“comfortable environment, reliable and consistent approach, proactive and engaging”.

Reviews of Jo’s Memoir
¨My Body’s Keeper: for the love of our DNA….. is a fabulous read for anyone on the “life threatening disease” journey – the principles are still the same. The disease is just a word, a word that disempowers, steals life, your peace and the destiny planned for so many. It doesn’t have to be that way; there can be a plan to fight, a plan to survive and a plan to use disease to become a better person in body, soul and spirit.¨
